This charter defines the principles and commitments that govern the relationship between Barbarij and its artisan partners. By joining our marketplace, you commit to respecting these fundamental values that guarantee quality, authenticity, and trust within our community.

Barbarij is committed to promoting authentic Tunisian craftsmanship while ensuring consumer protection and compliance with applicable standards.

As an artisan seller on Barbarij, you commit to:

• Comply with all Tunisian laws and regulations applicable to your activity and products (particularly regarding food, cosmetics, crafts, commerce).

• Ensure the safety of all your products by meeting safety, hygiene, and quality standards in force.

• Possess all necessary authorizations, licenses, and certifications to operate your business and market your products.

• Provide products that comply with labeling, traceability, and mandatory information regulations.

⚠️ LIABILITY CLAUSE You are solely responsible for the legal compliance, safety, and quality of the products you offer. Barbarij cannot be held responsible for failures to meet these obligations. In case of detected non-compliance, Barbarij reserves the right to suspend or remove your products and/or your account.

You commit to:

• Offer only authentic products, handcrafted according to recognized traditions and know-how.

• Guarantee a consistent level of quality in line with the descriptions provided on the platform.

• Not sell counterfeits, fake products, or products that mislead consumers about their origin.

• Preserve the artisanal and traditional character of your creations.

• Respect designations of origin and geographical indications where applicable.

⚠️ LIABILITY CLAUSE Barbarij reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or remove any product that does not meet expected quality and authenticity criteria, or that is subject to recurring complaints.

You commit to:

• Provide clear, accurate, complete, and non-misleading product descriptions.

• Indicate essential characteristics: composition, dimensions, weight, origin, manufacturing method, usage precautions.

• Publish faithful photos that truly represent your products.

• Communicate honestly and transparently with customers about timeframes, limitations, or specificities of your products.

• Promptly update your stock and availability to avoid shortages.

⚠️ LIABILITY CLAUSE Any incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information is your sole responsibility. You are required to compensate Barbarij and customers for any damage resulting from erroneous information.

You commit to:

• Process orders within announced timeframes and meet delivery commitments.

• Carefully package your products to ensure their integrity during transport.

• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints within a reasonable timeframe (maximum 48 business hours).

• Provide quality after-sales service in case of defect, non-compliance, or return.

• Collaborate with Barbarij to resolve any dispute or problem encountered by customers.

⚠️ LIABILITY CLAUSE In case of repeated failure to meet these commitments (delays, damaged products, lack of response), Barbarij may temporarily or permanently suspend your access to the platform.

You commit to:

• Adopt professional, courteous, and respectful behavior toward customers, Barbarij, and other artisans.

• Not make discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate remarks.

• Respect third-party intellectual property (no copies, unauthorized reproductions).

• Promote sustainable and environmentally friendly practices where possible.

• Contribute positively to the reputation of Tunisian craftsmanship and the Barbarij marketplace.

⚠️ LIABILITY CLAUSE Any serious breach of ethics or behavior harmful to the community may result in immediate closure of your account without notice.

Our collaboration with you takes place in several stages:

1️⃣ REGISTRATION & VALIDATION You submit your application with your information, supporting documents, and product samples. Our team evaluates your file according to this charter's criteria.

2️⃣ INTEGRATION & TRAINING Once accepted, you access your seller space. We support you in getting familiar with the platform and listing your first products.

3️⃣ QUALITY VERIFICATION Our teams regularly verify your products' compliance, service quality, and charter adherence. Checks may be performed at any time.

4️⃣ ONGOING COLLABORATION We maintain transparent and constructive communication. You receive reports on your sales, customer reviews, and improvement recommendations.

5️⃣ DEVELOPMENT & GROWTH We support you in developing your business: advice, visibility, promotional campaigns, additional training.

In case of failure to meet the commitments of this charter, Barbarij reserves the right to apply the following measures:

• WARNING: written notification of the breach with request for compliance.

• TEMPORARY SUSPENSION: blocking of your seller account for a specified period.

• PRODUCT REMOVAL: deletion of non-compliant products from the platform.

• TERMINATION: permanent closure of your account in case of serious or repeated breach.

You have the right to appeal in case of dispute. You can contact us at contact.barbarij@gmail.com to present your situation. We commit to examining each case fairly.

Barbarij reserves the right to modify this charter at any time to adapt it to regulatory changes, community needs, or market requirements.

Any substantial modification will be notified to you by email with reasonable time to review the changes.

Continuing your activity on the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the new provisions.

For our part, Barbarij commits to:

✓ Ensure fair visibility for all partner artisans.

✓ Process payments securely and transfer your revenue according to agreed terms.

✓ Support and assist you in developing your business.

✓ Protect your personal data and respect your intellectual property.

✓ Maintain transparent and constructive dialogue with you.

✓ Promote authentic Tunisian craftsmanship to a wide audience.
